Document Management System
The framework allows the classifying, managing and archiving of documents based on a classification and directory structure. This classification is specific to the scenario such as clinical trials in pharmaceuticals research, insurance claims etc. The scanned documents with attachments are uploaded by the end user and moved into the correct classification. The documents are approved by the approving authority before being available for retrieval by anyone. The framework is based on SAP Portals, Java WebDynpro and Adobe Forms.

Workflow solution towards paperless HR processes
HR processes across organizations are predominantly paper based due to the nature of the process such as expense claim approval, addition of dependents for health insurance etc. The framework based on SAP Workflow allows submission of documents to the local HR administrator who does the physical verification of documents. Thereafter, the approval chain goes through several levels of management approvals before the HR data is finally committed to SAP HR. Audit is maintained to comply with regulatory compliance such that approval actions can be recalled at any later point of time.

Employee Self Service : HR Adobe Forms Management
For routine HR processes such as update of home address, the employee may have to print the form, fill and submit it to the HR Administrator. In our solution based on Adobe Interactive Forms, the employee downloads the Adobe Form, and directly types in his or her personnel information, and submits it directly from within the Adobe Form. The backend SAP gets updated with the submitted HR data.

Retail : Mobile Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD)
In convenience store and grocery retailing, the Retail DSD scenario is gaining prominence due to multiple business benefits for the retailer and vendor. The goods received at the retail store warehouse are directly scanned and inwarded; the invoice reconciliation happens at the head office. Our Retail DSD solution based on SAP NetWeaver is available on the mobile handheld device (such as Motorola Intermec) with the attached barcode reader.

Retail : Quick Order and Pickup (B2C scenario)
Certain convenience stores and retailers offer meals-to-go for the busy shopper. This application based on SAP NetWeaver is accessed via the shopper's cellphone; the shopper can quickly select the meals (such as soups, sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, beverages etc). The application allows selection of multiple sizes (such as 6 inch sandwich, large soup, 12 oz coffee). The shopper selects the store for pickup to complete the order. This SAP NetWeaver based application was tested through usability studies to create a highly usable user interface with the fewest clicks.

Retail POS : UI simplification (compared to GuiXT)
For retailers using SAP IS-Retail, the store associates have difficulty in using native SAP transactions. In comparison to GuiXT for transaction simplification, our Retail POS framework simplifies the interaction made by the store associate for store operations. Additionally, we have developed a POS version for the Auto aftermarkets retail chainstores allowing the store associate to locate past customers, up-sell products, capture rejection reasons, create shop floor work orders and generate invoicing etc. The Retail POS framework is based on SAP NetWeaver

SAPConsole based Asset Management
SAPConsole based framework for using Mobile RF based terminals for asset management or other mobile warehousing activities such as stock location, pickup, staging and movements. The terminal has direct SAP connectivity, and transactions are committed directly into SAP regarding stock movements in the warehouse or current location of assets.

Supplier Self-Service Portal (for non-strategic vendors)
The SAP NetWeaver based framework allows the Supplier self-service capabiliity to the OEM manufacturer to extend self-service to the supplier base. The suppliers can query on the status of the shipments, ASN, goods receipts, payments, invoices, open purchase orders, forecasts and data to be shared by the OEM. This Supplier self service capability avoids the need for SAP SRM for non-strategic vendors having low business volume with the OEM.

SRM Shopping Cart Management
The SAP NetWeaver based framework provides a modern user-friendly frontend to SAP SRM. The framework allows a highly configurable creation of shopping cart by the employee and submit it for approval; the shopping cart catalog, categories and validations are pulled from SAP SRM along with the SAP SRM organizational hierarchy for approval chains. We have successfully deployed the framework for a customer having SRM 3.0 which allowed them to leverage their ageing SRM with a modern UI frontend.
